there once was a lovely time

when on earth did tonnes of colors shine

animals in all colors and also non green trees

butterflies transparent and yellow colored peas

but the best was the king of jungle like never seen

you would know if i tell you what i mean

after the suburbs somewhere in sion

resided the big and lovely pink lion

those carvings on the wall

hollow sounds like wind having a ball

amidst unfaltering greens and browns

infested with visuals of yesteryear towns

red stone and obliterated rock

where time stands still to take stock

playing soccer with kids in the backyard

across the road is an electrified fence

all covered with creepers dense

a heavy kick and ball flies across to mexico

poor kid across played along to be like sanchez hugo

soldiers were distraught

so simple it was yet they hadn't thought

of all the people in the town

it came from the maid of the clown

chopping lamb pieces over the beam
